• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from an accredited college or university with a valid and unrestricted license in the state of Montana.
• OR a bachelor’s degree in nursing, health promotion, health education, health and human development, community health, early child development, exercise science, family and consumer sciences, or home economics.
• Successful completion of an anatomy/physiology series of coursework completed within the last 10 years (unless the applicant has been working in the health field).
• Six or more college credit hours in food and nutrition appropriate to the WIC population completed within the last 10 years (unless the applicant has been working in the nutrition field). Examples include basic nutrition, nutrition in life cycle, community nutrition, and nutrition and disease. These may also be completed within 1 year of hire.
• Certified Lactation Counselor within 1 year of hire.

• Tribal application.
• Copy of academic transcript/degree.
• Certifications.
• Copy of a valid driver’s license.
• Proof of enrollment from a federally recognized tribe if claiming tribal preference (other than CSKT).
• Copy of DD214 if claiming veteran preference.

Failure to submit all of the above information will result in disqualification during the screening process.

This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the CSKT drug testing policy and is subject to random drug testing. Applicants not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre‑hire drug test and serve a mandatory six‑month probationary period.

Salary: $26.79 – $30.79 per hour plus benefits. Employment may be under contract.
