Within the Nutrition Services team, the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will provide comprehensive clinical nutrition support across both inpatient and outpatient populations. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing evidence-based dietary counseling to support recovery, chronic disease management, and preventive health. The role spans Dietary Services, Clinical Nutrition, Food & Nutrition Services, Inpatient Nutrition Care, and Outpatient Nutrition Counseling, ensuring a diverse and engaging scope of practice.

The work environment is highly collaborative, with strong coordination between dietary staff, nursing teams, and providers. In this critical access hospital setting, the Registered Dietitian will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a wide range of patient needs, from acute care nutrition interventions to long-term lifestyle and wellness counseling. The role also emphasizes patient education and preventive care, allowing the Registered Dietitian to play a key role in improving overall community health outcomes.

The role is supported by a stable and interdisciplinary team structure, where communication is prioritized and clinical input is valued in daily decision‑making. Responsibilities include participating in care planning discussions, responding to provider consults, and ensuring nutrition interventions align with each patient’s medical needs and treatment goals.

Leadership is accessible and supportive, fostering an environment where the Registered Dietitian can practice with confidence while contributing to broader team‑based care initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

The healthcare organization offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package that typically includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options, paid time off, and continuing education support.
