Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech, Radiography & Medical Imaging
4 - 10 hour shifts per week, with hours typically from 0730 - 1830 or 0800 - 1900, alongside on-call shifts as needed.
Job DescriptionThe X‑ray/CT Technologist operates radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs in accordance with established department routines and procedures. This role involves positioning patients, adjusting equipment for proper exposure settings, completing exams in the electronic medical record, and verifying images in the PACS system. The technologist is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images, as well as interviewing patients and explaining procedures to assist in their positioning during scans.
Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment to obtain quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients and adjust equipment controls for optimal exposure settings.
- Complete imaging exams in the electronic medical record system.
- Verify images in the PACS system for quality assurance.
- Assist patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort during imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to review test results.
Applicants must be certified and hold licensure as required for X‑ray and Computed Tomography (CT) imaging.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13‑week contract position.
