Substance Abuse Treatment Counselor

• Conduct substance misuse and abuse assessments
• Develop treatment plans and provide interventions
• Monitor students with chronic substance conditions
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing
• Provide crisis intervention during substance abuse emergencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Strong interpersonal skills
