Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with physician's orders and established standards of care. Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and document patient progress.

• Evaluate patient's functional status, including musculature, range of motion, strength, coordination, and sensory perception.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving patient's functional ability and independence.
• Instruct patients and their families in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques to improve functional independence.
• Document patient care, progress, and outcomes in adherence to facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Adapt treatment for patients with a variety of conditions, including physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments.

Days

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.

Previous occupational therapy experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
