Physical Therapist
This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs. The goal is to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. You will work collaboratively with providers and care teams across various care settings. The position involves outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, including home visits. A background in acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility is preferred.
Skills required include body mechanics, pain assessment, and discharge planning. Experience with various patient diagnoses such as post-stroke rehabilitation and orthopedic conditions is beneficial. You will engage in patient family education and develop home exercise programs. Additionally, time management and safety practices are essential components of the role. Overall, you will contribute to the patient's journey towards recovery and improved quality of life.
