Description:
The Surgical Technologist prepares the equipment, instruments, and supplies during surgery.
They are responsible for protecting the sterile area.
Incumbents must have a clear understanding of the surgical procedure being performed.
This understanding enables them to anticipate the needs of the performing surgeon.
Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical record documentation is preferred.
3 to 5 years' experience is required for this position.
