Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures under the supervision of the Imaging Director and radiologist to aid diagnosis.
  • Properly position patients, select appropriate protocols, and operate CT equipment to ensure high‑quality diagnostic images.
  • Follow hospital and department protocols for radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and throughput.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and image management; participate in performance improvement activities as directed.
  • Be adaptable to routine changes, on‑call duties, and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved radiology technology program.
  • ARRT certification in radiography and a state license (Montana) to practice.
  • Current BLS certification; ongoing continuing education credits as required by ARRT.
  • Flexibility for overtime and on‑call duties; ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital imaging environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of age‑related considerations for pediatrics and geriatrics; strong patient communication and safety practices.
  • Ability to comply with department policies and maintain confidentiality; reliable team member with good time management.
