Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with injuries or illnesses that limit movement and daily function
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans of care and document progress
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to coordinate care and ensure safe patient handling
  • Provide therapy across the continuum of care, potentially traveling between facilities as needed
  • Adapt interventions based on patient response and clinical guidelines; apply evidence-based PT practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and comply with regulatory standards
Requirements
  • Education:

    Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate) in physical therapy
  • Licenses/certifications:

    Active Montana Physical Therapist license;
    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience:

    Demonstrated ability to use computer applications in a healthcare setting; problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to perform all physical requirements of the role (lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.)
  • Additional:
    Willingness to travel between rural facilities as needed; ability to work in a rural healthcare setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Certifications noted in Job Notes (e.g., dry needling or pelvic floor certification) may be applicable
