Job Summary (Physical Therapist )

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients.
• Evaluate patients' physical and functional status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
• Deliver patient, family, and caregiver education on health, wellness, pain management, and safety.
• Accurately document patient evaluations, progress notes, daily treatments, education, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility policies.
• Identify and address patient safety issues, ensuring a safe environment for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain required certifications (e.g., Montana Physical Therapist License, AHA BLS).
• Participate in required education, including cerebrovascular disease (stroke) training.
• Adhere to organizational, regulatory, and policy requirements for education and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Utilize computer applications and office equipment as needed.
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
• Work schedule may include extended hours, weekends, after-hours, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Perform physical job duties such as lifting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and fine finger movements.
• Work in environments with potential exposure to blood borne pathogens, chemicals, medications, radiation, and infectious diseases.
• Handle emotionally challenging situations, including distressed patients or difficult family interactions.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Montana Physical Therapy License.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Completion of initial cerebrovascular (stroke) education.
• Preferred:
  Two years of physical therapy experience.
