Respiratory Therapist
The organization seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver specialized care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders in Great Falls, Montana. The role involves collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to implement optimal respiratory treatment plans and support patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities:Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
Monitor and record patient responses to treatment.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis.
Maintain and operate ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and update patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies.
Ensure all equipment is sanitized, functional, and complies with safety standards.
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC
Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Skills:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
