Job Summary:

Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients to restore functional ability and improve quality of life. Support patient care through direct therapy and related activities, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physical therapists to implement individualized therapy programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and home care routines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards during patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA or equivalent).
• Proven experience assisting in outpatient or inpatient therapy settings.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Must pass background checks and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
