Position: Sleep Lab Polysomnographer - Full Time - Up to $40/hr!
Location: Glasgow

Sleep Lab Polysomnographer

Full-time Sleep Lab Polysomnographer in Glasgow, MT. Supports diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders through polysomnography and related studies. Works in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and schedule sleep studies including PSG, MSLT, and MWT
  • Score, evaluate, and archive polysomnograms per protocols
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain sleep lab equipment
  • Monitor patients during testing to ensure accuracy, comfort, and safety
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for physicians and referring providers
  • Consult with healthcare providers, home care companies, and patients on diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Provide patient education about sleep disorders, procedures, and post-study expectations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with medical necessity and insurance documentation
  • Support facility mission, policies, and safety procedures
  • Assist in quality improvement activities and ongoing clinical training
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or ability to obtain within one year of hire
  • Working knowledge of patient age-specific care
  • Proficient in administering oxygen therapy, CPAP, BiPAP, and other positive-pressure breathing devices
  • Skilled in performing EKG, aerosol therapy, EEGs, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas analysis (if certified)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of patient safety standards, infection control, and emergency response protocols
Preferred

Skills:
  • Prior experience in sleep lab or respiratory care
