Overview

Physical Therapist (General) - Travel assignment in Plentywood, Montana. Start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks with 35 guaranteed hours per week on Day shifts. Practice in a hospital-based inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation setting within a rural community. This assignment is staffed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC and offers a weekly pay range of $1,842 to $1,930.

• Setting:
  Rural hospital-based rehabilitation department serving inpatients and outpatients

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to mobility, strength, and functional recovery
• Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
• Utilize evidence-based PT methods to address orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions; support gait training, range of motion, strength, and functional activities
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team (including nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and, when appropriate, home health visits
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, progress expectations, and post-discharge strategies to support ongoing recovery

• Active physical therapy license in Montana or eligibility to practice in Montana
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Eligible for a 13-week travel assignment and able to work the listed Day shift in a rural hospital setting
