Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to mobility, strength, and functional recovery
  • Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based PT methods to address orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions; support gait training, range of motion, strength, and functional activities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team (including nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and, when appropriate, home health visits
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, progress expectations, and post-discharge strategies to support ongoing recovery
Requirements
  • Active physical therapy license in Montana or eligibility to practice in Montana
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Eligible for a 13-week travel assignment and able to work the listed Day shift in a rural hospital setting
