• Setting: rural, hospital-based rehabilitation (inpatient and outpatient LTAC)

• Provide Physical Therapist Assistant services to inpatients and outpatients as part of the rehabilitation team
• Implement and adapt treatment plans under supervision to restore movement and function
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and activity progression; document progress in electronic health records
• Assist with transfers, mobility training, gait training, and use of assistive devices
• Collaborate with therapists and other rehab staff to coordinate care and ensure safety and infection control

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Montana PTA license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• Ability to perform all required physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling, transferring)
• Proficiency with healthcare computer systems and documentation
• Ability to work in a rural LTAC rehabilitation setting and travel between facility sites as needed

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Active Montana PTA license
• BLS (AHA)

• Guaranteed hours and a consistent weekly pay range
• Housing options may be available; facility-provided housing, if used, may be billed directly to the traveler with rates around $500 per month for most options or $650 for select apartments (housing is not reimbursed by the facility)
• 13-week assignment with potential extension opportunities
