Northeast Montana Health Services, Inc., d/b/a Poplar Community Hospital, in Poplar, MT based hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
Responsibilities include:- performing basic bench work in all areas f the laboratory on clinical specimens
- understanding basic quality control/ troubleshooting quality control problems
- correctly registering patients, order, run and result tests in the hospital/laboratory information system
- maintain CLIA regulations.
- Must possess knowledge of microbiology procedures and antibiotic use and selection.
- Report to the Director of Laboratory Services.
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology, one of the specialty areas, or one of chemical or biological sciences with at least two years of experience required.
- Must possess a nationally recognized license under ASCP, AMT, or NCA guidelines.
- Required to be licensed in the state of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Respondents must be presently eligible for permanent employment in the United States.
