This role is for a Paramedic responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care.
Key responsibilities include:- Assessing each call to determine the best course of action in accordance with protocols.
- Utilizing advanced medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide reassurance and information.
- Serving as a team leader and managing scene and unit operations as needed.
- Driving ambulances during emergency responses.
- Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Participating in community programs to enhance community relations and the organization’s image.
- High school diploma or GED.
- State Paramedic License, Driver’s License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
- Valid driving record and ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
- Some healthcare experience preferred.
