MRI Technologist and Senior MRI Technologist

Position Overview:

This role involves providing MRI imaging services to patients in a clinical setting, with responsibilities tailored to either an MRI Technologist or a Senior MRI Technologist.

• Perform timely and efficient MRI procedures following departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and orientation.
• Senior level may include serving as an expert user, precepting new staff, and providing guidance on complex cases.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality standards.

• Relevant education and certification to meet MSRT requirements or equivalent, including registration with recognized radiologic or MRI technology boards.
• For Senior role, a minimum of 4 years of MRI experience is required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred qualifications include at least 1 year of experience for the Technologist role.

• Strong technical skills in MRI imaging.
• Excellent patient care and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
