Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist - Outpatient with 1+ years of experience for a Critical Access Hospital in a rural Western Montana community.

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patient populations preferred
• Familiarity with modalities such as TENS, ultrasound, cryotherapy, and moist heat preferred
• Skilled in assessment, documentation, and development of home exercise programs
• Experience with wound/ulcer assessment and simple dressing changes preferred

• Critical Access Hospital setting including outpatient, inpatient, home visits, and swing bed program
• Day shift availability for 4x10 or 5x8 hour schedules, 34-40 hours per week depending on census or caseload
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• No floating to sister facilities
• Epic experience preferred
• Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Collaborates with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and long-term care settings
• Located along the Clark Fork River with access to outdoor recreation including skiing, fishing, and wildlife viewing
• About an hour from Missoula and Kalispell for shopping, dining, and airport access
• Small-town community setting offering broad clinical exposure and close patient relationships
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of experience
• Open to local candidates
• No RTO restrictions
