Transportation Supervisor

Auric Road LMR Management LLC Big Sky, Montana, United States

About this position Lone Mountain Ranch

For more than 100 years, Lone Mountain Ranch has welcomed guests to beautiful Big Sky, Montana. Set on 148 acres just minutes from Yellowstone National Park, the Ranch is known for authentic Western hospitality, exceptional dining, outdoor adventures, and unforgettable guest experiences.

The beauty of the Ranch may be what guests remember first, but it's the people who create the experiences they remember most. Together, we take pride in caring for this special place—preserving its history, stewarding its natural surroundings, and creating meaningful experiences for every guest who visits.

Whether you're welcoming guests, preparing memorable meals, caring for our historic property, or supporting operations behind the scenes, every role contributes to creating unforgettable experiences while helping shape the next chapter of Lone Mountain Ranch's legacy.

Help Keep Every Guest Journey Moving

Transportation is one of the first and last experiences guests have at Lone Mountain Ranch. From greeting arriving guests at the airport to coordinating transportation throughout the ranch, our Transportation team helps create a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

As a Transportation Supervisor, you'll play a hands‑on role in the daily transportation operation. You'll coordinate schedules, dispatch drivers, provide transportation for guests and employees, and help keep the department running smoothly. Working alongside your fellow Transportation Supervisor, you'll collaborate to adapt to changing priorities, solve operational challenges, and deliver exceptional guest service every day.

If you enjoy balancing hospitality with logistics, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and take pride in helping both guests and teammates succeed, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate daily transportation schedules for guest arrivals, departures, activities, dining experiences, and employee transportation.
  • Dispatch drivers and make real‑time adjustments throughout the day as schedules, flights, weather, and operational priorities change.
  • Monitor flight arrivals and proactively adjust transportation plans to ensure timely guest service.
  • Safely transport guests and employees to and from the airport, throughout the ranch, and to approved off‑property destinations.
  • Deliver warm, authentic hospitality during every guest interaction, creating a welcoming first and last impression of Lone Mountain Ranch.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Activities, Housekeeping, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assign vehicles, maintain accurate transportation schedules and records, and communicate operational updates to the transportation team.
  • Support the day‑to‑day success of the Transportation team by answering questions, sharing knowledge, onboarding new team members, and helping maintain consistent service standards.
  • Help monitor vehicle readiness, cleanliness, fueling, and maintenance needs to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining a guest‑first approach.

  • Can confidently make decisions and adjust plans as priorities change throughout the day.
  • Take pride in supporting your teammates while working alongside them.
  • Enjoy being active and spending part of your day behind the wheel.
