Hotel Head Housekeeper

The Town Pump Hotel Group is looking for a motivated and outgoing Hotel Head Housekeeper who will model our mission statement “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.” Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.

• Perform duties to ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned, and strive to provide the best possible experience for each guest, in alignment with Town Pump and brand standards within specified time frames per guest type.
• Supervise all housekeeping and laundry team members. This includes hiring, training, performance management, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination as required.
• Practice and reinforce safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Assign daily work for the housekeeping and laundry department, distribute assignments, complete inspections of rooms, public areas, storerooms, and laundry, provide regular feedback to team members, and complete weekly schedules based on forecasted hotel occupancy.
• Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner, prepare housekeeping cart upon arrival and at shift closing daily, follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines, and wear uniform and name tag while on shift.
• Use and update the room assignment clipboard, sign-out, and sign-in master room keys daily. Ensure master keys are always secure (attached to self) and never loaned to anyone or taken off the property.
• Manage linen and supply inventory, generate supply requisitions, and maintain responsibility for lost and found items.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance, comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information, and communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping, and the ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• May be required to perform duties such as folding laundry, cleaning the lobby, assisting with breakfast service, cleaning public areas, and guest rooms as needed.
