Stewarding Supervisor

• Supervise day‑to‑day functions of the stewarding department.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other associates to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist and oversee the cleaning, transport, and storage of china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other equipment used in food and beverage operations.
• Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens are consistently stocked with the proper amounts of all equipment.
• Oversee sanitizing and cleaning all kitchen floors, recycling bins, oil bins, and the recycle/trash room.
• Remove used linen and restock linen.
• Train associates on operating commercial dishwashing equipment and maintain proper sanitation and storage procedures.
• Monitor water temperature, detergent levels, and equipment functionality.
• Empty trash bins, dispose of food waste, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including handwashing, glove usage, and temperature control procedures.
• Assist with removing used kitchen towels and restocking kitchen towels.
• Conduct daily lineups, attend operational meetings, and assist with administrative duties.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

• Basic communication skills.
• Prior dishwashing or stewarding experience (preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience (preferred).
• Hotel experience (preferred).

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods
• Ability to push and pull equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi‑regular basis
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures: freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)
