Systems Administrator Security Clearance

TQI Solutions seeks proactive, visionary thought leaders to drive impactful solutions for clients. The Systems Administrator – Journeyman will provide advanced, hands‑on field support across multiple sites, ensuring reliable network performance, efficient troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical infrastructure.

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot secure Layer 2/3 network infrastructure (Cisco/Palo Alto) across classified and unclassified DoW networks to ensure continuous, secure mission operations.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and repair Windows/Unix servers and VMware virtualization infrastructure.
• Execute daily system monitoring, backup/recovery procedures, and enterprise account management.
• Ensure DoW cybersecurity compliance through active vulnerability management (e.g., ACAS), patching, and STIG implementation.
• Maintain, secure, and optimize Windows/Unix servers, storage, and virtualization environments for PHNSY & IMF in strict compliance with Department of War (DoW) policies.

• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.
• Cyber Workforce (CWF): Must meet qualification requirements outlined in DoW Directive 8140.01.
• Experience: Journeyman‑level experience (typically 3‑5 years) in Windows and/or Unix administration, virtualization, enterprise storage (NAS), and security remediation. This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
