C & B Operations is seeking a Regional Service Manager based out of Northeast Montana to lead Service teams across multiple John Deere dealership locations – Miles City, Glasgow, Plentywood, Glendive, Circle, and Culbertson. This role is responsible for driving service profitability, improving customer satisfaction, and strengthening overall service performance across the region.

You will lead people, processes, and performance—ensuring service departments are operating efficiently, consistently, and profitably while developing strong, engaged teams.

Job Function

The Service Manager will manage service operations within the dealership to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize return on investment by optimizing service department processes. Grows profitable service labor sales and exercises disciplined expense control. Attracts, retains, and assists with the development of department personnel.

Essential Functions

  • Lead Service Managers and Service Advisor teams across multiple locations
  • Develop and execute annual service goals, budgets, and aftermarket growth plans
  • Drive service profitability through labor, parts, and operational efficiency
  • Improve and standardize service department processes and customer experience
  • Analyze KPIs, financials, and operational reports to identify opportunities and gaps
  • Partner with leadership on aftermarket sales and marketing strategies
  • Support and develop Service Managers, Advisors, and Technicians
  • Resolve escalated service issues and customer concerns
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across facilities and operations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of multi‑location leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Strong understanding of service operations, financial performance, and KPIs
  • Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable across multiple sites
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision‑making
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Experience in ag equipment or dealership environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment & Travel

This role involves regular travel between dealership locations and occasional exposure to shop and field environments including noise, equipment, and varying conditions. Some extended hours or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
