Housing Service Specialist

Monroe Group is looking for a Housing Service Specialist to join our team. The role requires property management experience, a passion for mentoring and developing a team, and a positive interaction style with applicants, residents, and teammates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
  • Developing and managing the budget
  • Ensuring the property meets KPI goals for occupancy, collections, compliance, asset, and budget management
  • Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
  • Ensuring site teams deliver safe, decent and sanitary housing to all residents
  • Performing all other duties as assigned
Benefits & Compensation

New‑hire bonus of $500 payable after three months and a $1,500 retention bonus after six months.

Requirements
  • Must be able to work assigned hours as scheduled.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Familiarity with clerical practices, office procedures, and automated equipment.
  • Required to learn all aspects of community manager duties.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a self‑starter and self‑motivated.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks with reasonable speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • At least 1 year of property management experience in a managerial role.
  • Must have working knowledge of affordable housing programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of property management experience in a managerial role.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to move/drag/lift at least 15 lbs and up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequently utilize hands and fingers.
  • Frequently required to sit and stand.
  • Must be able to walk each property in its entirety.
  • Required to bend, twist, stoop and or kneel.
Work Environment
  • Exposed to an indoor office and outdoor environment. Noise level changes on a consistent basis.
Salary

$55,000.
