Thompson River Animal Care Shelter (TRACS) is seeking an Operations Manager.
Duties- Conduct hiring, supervision of, and training for animal care providers.
- Effectively communicate with team, donors, customers, and potential adopters.
- Ensure maintenance of facility and grounds.
- Manage adoptions.
- Conduct administrative duties including but not limited to organizing schedules, sending and responding to correspondence, and organizing and facilitating team meetings.
- Problem solve.
- A love of animals and ability to make each animal's health and well being a priority.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and supervise team.
- Team oriented and ability to empower team.
- Effective and empathetic communication skills using multiple platforms including in person, via telephone and email, and in writing.
- Take direction and act on policies and procedures created by the Board of Directors.
