Position SummaryAs a Manufacturing Operator, you are responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and visual inspection of products to meet daily customer demand and production schedules. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, consistency, and safety, with strict adherence to the Company’s Quality System and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Success in this role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret specifications, identify product or process issues, and work effectively as part of a team.
Above all, this position demands an unwavering dedication to product quality and workplace safety.
Lubrizol operates on multiple shifts. Opportunities are available on First and Second Shift.
- Sample First Shift: Monday–Thursday | 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Sample Second Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM
- Starting Rate: $18.00/hour with opportunity for advancement
- Shift Differential:
Additional $1.00/hour for Second Shift
- Prepare work by following assembly instructions and product specifications
- Manufacture basic components per Work Orders using designated equipment
- Set up production equipment in accordance with approved Operating Procedures
- Control and adjust basic machine settings within established operating ranges
- Accurately document work performed and take ownership of completed tasks
- Monitor and record process parameters such as time, temperature, and pressure, as required
- Verify equipment parameters remain within specified limits
- Manufacture product in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Maintain strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Comply with all safety procedures, policies, and protocols
- Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support a culture of safety through consistent adherence to standards
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of related manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures, drawings, and specifications
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to work with hand tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic familiarity with personal computers
- Constant use of hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and reaching within arm’s length
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Constant repetitive motion tasks (pushing, pulling, reaching)
