Work ScheduleThis facility operates every day of the week. Team members are assigned to shifts according to operational needs. The available work shifts are Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm, Friday-Sunday 7:00am-7:30pm.
PayFull-time hourly starting at $22.50 per hour.
Position DescriptionThe Operator reports to the Plant or Shift Supervisor and performs duties in an industrial hemp processing facility. The operator sets up, starts, operates, monitors, troubleshoots, documents, and reports issues on plant equipment. The operator also adjusts equipment to maintain maximum efficiency while prioritizing safety and product quality.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prioritize and maintain safe working practices and a safe working environment.
- Follow GMP and SOP policies.
- Clean facilities, equipment, and machinery.
- Maintain work areas, aisles, and grounds in a clean and tidy manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed.
- Maintain and monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and efficient operation.
- Conduct quality checks.
- Collect product samples.
- Load and unload materials.
- Package materials.
- Safely operate heavy and aerial equipment such as forklift, skid-steer, wheel loader, grapple, telehandler, and scissor lift.
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical, confined space, and safety regulations.
- Excellent knowledge and ability to operate all processing equipment and mobile units within or outside the facility.
- Act as lead when needed.
- Assist in on-the-job training with laborer and technician-level employees.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training a plus.
- 2+ years industry or equivalent training preferred.
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment and forklifts a plus.
- Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension.
- Prior manufacturing (grain or food processing) or agriculture experience a plus.
- Ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods; work in confined spaces, heights, dusty environment, and hot and cold temperatures.
