Work ScheduleThis facility operates every day of the week. Team members are assigned to shifts according to operational needs. The available shifts are as follows:
- Monday‑Thursday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Friday‑Sunday 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
Pay:
Full‑time hourly level with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour.
The Production Technician reports to the Plant and/or Shift Supervisor and performs duties in an industrial hemp processing facility. Responsibilities include set‑up, start‑up, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting of plant equipment issues. The Technician adjusts equipment to ensure maximum efficiency while prioritizing safety and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prioritize and maintain safe working practices and a safe environment.
- Follow GMP and SOP policies.
- Clean facilities, equipment, and machinery.
- Maintain work areas, aisles, and grounds in a clean and tidy manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and efficient operation.
- Conduct quality checks and collect product samples.
- Load and unload materials.
- Package materials.
- Safely operate heavy and aerial equipment such as fork‑lift, skid‑steer, wheel loader, grapple, telehandler, and scissor lift.
- Operate all processing equipment with or without assistance as directed.
- Participate in training to learn each production line position/task.
- Demonstrate ability to learn new tasks and cross‑train on fiber facility positions.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
- One year of industry or equivalent training preferred.
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment and forklifts a plus.
- Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension.
- Prior manufacturing (grain or food processing) or agriculture experience a plus.
