Development and Alumni Relations Director

Responsibilities

The Development & Alumni Relations Director is responsible for supporting fundraising, donor engagement, alumni relations, community outreach, and advancement initiatives for the Department of Institutional Advancement. This position plays a key role in strengthening relationships with alumni, donors, community partners, tribal organizations, and supporters of the institution while assisting with the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, special events, scholarship development, and donor stewardship activities.

The Development & Alumni Relations Director works collaboratively across campus departments to enhance alumni engagement, increase philanthropic support, and promote the mission, vision, and values of the institution.

Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, education, or related field preferred. Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered. Two (2) years of experience in fundraising, alumni relations, event coordination, marketing, communications, customer relations, or related field preferred. Experience working in higher education, nonprofit organizations, tribal organizations, or community engagement environments is desirable.
