Carter County is seeking a Senior Services Food Assistance & Transit Coordinator in Ekalaka, Montana!
Term: Temporary
Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours per week
Pay: $18/hour
What You’ll Do- Coordinate senior and transportation services.
- Assist with the Carter County Food Bank and Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
- Maintain required records, reports, budgets, grants, and program information.
- Help seniors connect with services and complete benefit applications.
- Coordinate with community partners, agencies, boards, and service providers.
- Support program staff, scheduling, deliveries, and outreach.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.
- Valid Montana driver's license.
- Strong communication, organization, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with seniors and the public.
- Ability to lift and move case goods up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility for meetings, deliveries, and program activities.
- Experience with seniors, community programs, grants, budgeting, food assistance, or transportation preferred.
