Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents in a community hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being through expert clinical assessment and intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments to LTC residents according to physician's orders.
- Monitor residents' conditions and escalate concerns promptly.
- Document all care provided accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
- Educate residents and their families regarding health conditions and care procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Active Registered Nurse license valid in Montana.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and patient education abilities.
- Flexibility to work alternating shifts, including 12-hour days.
