• Shift: 12 Hours – Night shift (6pm – 6:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays.
• Differential available for night and weekend shifts.
• Part‑time, weekly hours: 24.00

• Salary Range: $24.00 – $36.00 per hour
• $7,500 Sign‑On Bonus available

We are an active participant of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, which provides stipends between $7,500 and $75,000 per year to qualifying health care professionals who commit to a 5‑year service in rural communities. The Long Term Care (LTC) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing appropriate age and population‑specific standards related to the resident’s physical and psychosocial needs as per the care plan.

The LPN possesses the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident’s status and to provide the necessary care. The LPN demonstrates ability to recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation.

The LPN ensures the health, comfort and safety of residents, contributes to the assessment of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered, provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed, documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary, and establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, health‑care providers, and the public. The LPN works as part of an interdisciplinary care team, communicates clearly, maintains confidentiality, and counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocates under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician on prevention and treatment plans.

The LPN applies knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self‑care program and performs other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, North Dakota requires graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Must have attended a pre‑licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span, or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possesses multi‑state licensure privileges.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications, completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
