Oncology/Infusion/Surgery Registered Nurse (RN)
St. Luke Community Healthcare is seeking a dependable Full‑Time Oncology/Infusion/Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgery department. This position will be a day shift; start times may vary and on‑call hours are required. Preference will be given to candidates with surgery/PACU experience or oncology experience. Candidates without direct experience who have at least 2 years of nursing experience in an inpatient setting will also be considered.
Responsibilities include providing patient care in pre‑operative, post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU), infusion therapy, and operating room (OR) settings.
- Perform and monitor all acute patient care tasks in pre‑operative, PACU, infusion therapy, and OR areas.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to plan and deliver safe care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience (preferred: surgery/PACU or oncology).
- Chemo certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
