Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Interim Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing operations within our long term care facility on a temporary basis. The Interim Director of Nursing will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for residents, managing nursing staff, implementing policies and procedures, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee the delivery of quality patient care
• Manage staffing levels and schedules
• Conduct staff evaluations and provide ongoing training and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for residents
• Handle administrative tasks related to nursing operations

• Valid RN license
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing in a long term care facility
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
