Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery travel assignment in Wolf Point, MT, United States. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $1,956–$2,088 per week with 48 guaranteed hours. Shift: night shift (12-hour nights), typically four 12-hour shifts per week. This is a hospital-based travel position requiring Labor and Delivery coverage with Med/Surg cross-coverage as needed.

Hospital travel assignment with L&D and Med/Surg coverage - Housing: facility-provided housing available; if used, billed monthly at $500 for most options or $650 for select apartments
- Support: 24/7 recruiter and travel support; dedicated on-assignment support
- Provide direct nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients, including monitoring labor progress, fetal status, pain management, and intrapartum interventions
- Deliver or assist with newborn care immediately after birth, including assessments, transition, feeding support, bonding, and safety
- Maintain continuity of care by managing newborns delivered and collaborating with the obstetric team; when volumes are low, cover Med/Surg to maintain full-time hours
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status, administer medications per protocol, and document in the electronic health record accurately
- Float to Med/Surg as needed, participating in multidisciplinary rounds and ensuring patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies
- Active Montana Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Medical-Surgical units; OB/Delivery experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, holidays, and float to other units as needed
- Education:
graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN or BSN preferred - Must be able to provide safe, high-quality care in a busy obstetric setting and collaborate effectively with the care team
