In a 20-bed community hospital setting
, the RN Cardiology delivers personalized, high-acuity care within a cohesive, right-sized environment that promotes connection and continuity. Streamlined workflows, modern cath and echo capabilities, and focused telemetry enable precise assessments, timely interventions, and thorough education. Advanced structural heart care is supported through alcohol septal ablation, atrial septal defect ASD closure, Mitra Clip, and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure to lower stroke risk.

Purposeful rounding and standardized recovery protocols empower the RN—Cardiology to champion safety, experience, and outcomes across the cardiac continuum.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with bedside RNs, therapists, pharmacists, imaging specialists, technologists, and schedulers to coordinate seamless care.
  • Acquire and interpret EKGs, recognize arrhythmias.
  • Titrate and administer cardiac medications.
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑procedural care.
  • Educate patients.
  • Document accurately in EHR aligned with quality standards.
  • Function as liaison between staff, patients, and providers.
