Tobacco Root Mountains Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Director of Nursing (DON) / MDS Nurse in its skilled nursing facility. The facility is prioritizing candidates with Director of Nursing experience combined with MDS experience
. The RN will oversee nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate resident care, manage MDS assessments, and lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality long-term care.
Director of Nursing (DON) experience strongly preferred
MDS (Minimum Data Set) experience required/preferred
Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility experience required
Leadership and staff management experience
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care compliance
Resume must clearly demonstrate all relevant nursing and leadership experience
Required CredentialsActive Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current BLS Certification
Long-Term Care experience
MDS Coordinator experience preferred
Director of Nursing leadership experience strongly preferred
