HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Float Pool to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse population of cardiovascular patients across multiple units within the hospital, supporting areas such as cardiovascular step-down, telemetry, surgical cardiac units, and related specialty floors. As a member of the float pool, you will adapt to changing clinical environments and patient needs while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and compassion.

As a Cardiovascular Float Pool RN, you will perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, monitor vital signs and telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and promptly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition. You will administer medications, including complex and high-risk cardiac therapies in accordance with facility policies, and collaborate closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, surgeons, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.

You will support patients through pre- and post‑procedural care for cardiac interventions and surgeries, provide thorough patient and family education, and contribute to safe and timely discharges.

You will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols, and participation in quality improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives. Flexibility and strong clinical judgment are essential, as you will float to various cardiovascular and related units based on patient acuity and census, bringing consistency, reliability, and expertise wherever you are assigned.
