Travel Registered Nurse ER

Overview

Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in White Sulphur Springs, MT.

Start date:

07/16/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,655–$1,738. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Shift: three 12‑hour night shifts.

Location:

small rural Critical Access hospital. Role requires hands‑on triage and collaboration with a short‑stated team.

• Provide ER nursing care and acute care services, including initial assessments, continuous monitoring, and timely triage decisions.
• Triage patients in the ER, determine priorities, initiate appropriate interventions, and escalating care as needed.
• Serve as unit lead, supervising CNA and coordinating with LPN and other nursing staff.
• Participate in patient rounds and assist with LTC duties at night.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, perform standard procedures, and document patient status per policy.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control practices, and communicate clearly with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff.

• Experience in ER and acute care nursing with ability to triage and manage low census efficiently.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred.
• Availability for night‑shift schedule (3x12s) in a rural Critical Access setting.
• Capability to supervise nursing support staff (CNA, LPN) and collaborate across disciplines.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills; comfortable working with a small, close‑knit team.
