Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Outpatient Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated LPN / LVN for a 13-week contract assignment at Billings Clinic Broadwater in Townsend, MT. In this role, you will join a supportive ambulatory care team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to residents of Broadwater County. This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking to work in an outpatient setting while enjoying the rural charm and quality of life in Montana.

Job Overview

Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients of all ages in an outpatient/primary care clinic setting. Assist with patient rooming, gathering vital signs, taking medical histories, and preparing patients for provider examinations. Administer medications, immunizations, and prescribed treatments; assist clinic providers during minor outpatient procedures. Communicate routine test results, patient care instructions, and follow-up plans under provider direction. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active LPN or LVN License in the State of Montana (or compact/NLC equivalent). Current BLS (CPR) Certification. Primary care or ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered mindset.

Housing is not provided; candidates must secure local accommodations in or near Townsend, MT. Paper timecards are used at this facility and submitted weekly to NuWest Payroll.
