Key Responsibilities- Collect comprehensive assessment data pertinent to the patient's health or situation and analyze findings to determine diagnoses or issues
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
- Employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe care environment, including compliance with stroke and trauma protocols
- Evaluate nursing practice in relation to professional standards, guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members in the conduct of nursing practice and integrate research findings into care delivery
- Participate in required annual stroke education hours and verifiable trauma-related education as required by state trauma program standards
- Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience practicing modified primary nursing in a collaborative care environment
- Practice emergency nursing in a unique and scenic Montana setting with a collaborative, patient-centered care team
