Requirements:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification
• Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing
• At least 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health and situation through comprehensive data collection.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement identified plans of care and promote health and safety.
• Evaluate one's nursing practice in relation to professional standards and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to enhance care outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:

• Regular attendance is required.
• This role may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
• On-call work may be required.
• Must comply with all education and training requirements as assigned.
