RN Nurse, Operating Room Nurse
Peri Operative Services Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
40 hours per week with call coverage every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend.
The Peri Operative Services Registered Nurse is responsible for the practice of professional nursing, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients of all age groups, from pediatric through geriatric. This role involves advocating for and caring for patients during the peri-operative period, from admission through discharge from Peri Operative Services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and treatments.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies appropriately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in ortho, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy.
