Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses or issues, and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement identified plans of care and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to care for patients with hyper acute and acute stroke; participate in a minimum of four hours of stroke education annually
- Complete six hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually in accordance with State Trauma Program requirements
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members in the conduct of nursing practice
- Contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues while integrating research findings and ethical provisions into practice
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Work in a collaborative care environment in one of Montana's most scenic destinations, contributing to meaningful patient outcomes in an emergency setting
- Opportunity to develop and maintain advanced clinical competencies including stroke and trauma care in a dynamic acute care facility
