Yellowstone Club’s Outdoor Pursuits department is currently seeking candidates for our Summer Guide position for Summer 2026. Our summer employment dates are June-September.

Guide candidates should possess a deep passion for the outdoors, excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities. Additionally, adaptability, patience, and a customer-focused mindset are key attributes for a successful guide. Our Outdoor Pursuits guide program offers a variety of amenities such as mountain biking, hiking, aerial adventure course, 3D archery course, rock climbing, five stand sporting clays, archery tag and UTV tours.

Interviews will be conducted later in March. We appreciate your patience as we are still in full swing of winter operations on the mountain.

• Lead members and guests on hikes, off road UTV tours and paved E-Bike tours. Facilitate and coach 3D archery, archery tag along with our aerial adventure course.
• Opportunities may arise to lead and coach mountain biking, and rock climbing based on guide skill level. Additionally select guides with certification facilitate and coach at the Five Stand Range.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Set up and take down all activities daily. This includes daily maintenance, cleaning, and organizing equipment and workspace.
• Promotes and adheres to safety standards.
• Operate company vehicles when necessary, including UTVs
• Facilitate and ensure the safe operation of the aerial adventure course. This includes working at heights daily.
• Provide excellent customer service in a diverse work environment.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.
• Always maintain a clean, neat professional appearance.
• Must be able to work flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
• Creditable experience in teaching and/or outdoor guiding
• Valid certification in CPR and First Aid
• Valid Driver’s License
• Driving record that meets company driving insurance requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively and individually

The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
