SQUAD LEADER (FIRE/FUELS) – ENGBFORESTRY DIVISION OF FIRE

The successful applicant must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).

• Portable Pumps and Water Use (S-211)
• Intermediate Wildland Fire Behavior (S-290)
• Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5)
• Faller 3 (FAL3)
• Engine Boss (ENGB)
• Valid State driver’s license at time of hire and throughout employment
• BIA Motor Vehicle Operator Policy adherence
• IQCS rating:
  Engine Boss (ENGB), Faller 3 (FAL3), Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5)
• Prescribed Burn Boss Type 3 (RXB3) qualification within 2 years of hire
• IQCS Faller 2 (FAL2) qualification within 2 years of hire
• Meeting Interagency Wildland Firefighter Medical Standards for arduous duty
• Prerequisite physical stamina and strength, and ability to pass the Work Capacity Test at the arduous level annually

This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Tribal Drug and Alcohol Policy and is subject to pre‑hire and random drug testing requirements.

Salary $21.54 per hour, plus benefits.
