We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Activities Guide for a full-time, on-site position located in Philipsburg, MT. The Activities Guide will be responsible for leading and assisting in a variety of guest experiences, including outdoor recreation, tours, and activities such as hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, biking, and wildlife exploration. Responsibilities include ensuring guest safety, providing engaging instruction, maintaining equipment, and delivering exceptional service to create memorable experiences for guests.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of and experience in outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, biking, and wildlife exploration.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proficiency in ensuring safety protocols, equipment handling, and ability to guide groups in various outdoor settings.
- Customer service experience, problem-solving skills, and ability to provide Five-Star quality service in diverse scenarios.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, nature, and wilderness education, with a commitment to providing memorable guest experiences.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and a willingness to adapt to the unique challenges of a seasonal, on-site position.
- Previous experience in outdoor guiding or related roles is preferred but not required. Certifications such as Wilderness First Responder (WFR), CPR, or First Aid are a plus.
