Hourly
Full-time permanent position; enrollment in company benefit plans after 60 days and 40-hour vacation after 90 days.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:00 am – 1:00 pm / 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Accurate and efficient preparation of finished product and environmental monitoring samples for laboratory testing. This role also includes the meticulous review of testing results, ensuring compliance with company procedures along with company and customer specifications.
PrincipalJob Responsibilities
- Serve the needs of customers and all stakeholders.
- Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policies.
- Prepare finished product samples.
- Perform environmental monitoring sampling.
- Drive continuous improvement with environmental monitoring programs.
- Analyze test results, including hold and release decisions for finished product.
- Analyze test results, including corrective actions for environmental monitoring.
- Maintain organized documentation and logs for finished product testing and environmental monitoring.
- Generate and maintain Certificate of Analysis for all outbound and inbound products.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documents and data entered.
- Identify, document, and communicate quality issues.
- Maintain knowledge of microbiological analysis for company and customer requirements.
- Serve as primary contact with 3rd party laboratories.
- Train new and existing employees on all aspects of finished product testing and environmental monitoring programs.
- Provide guidance for finished product and environmental monitoring sample collection to quality technicians.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Quality Management.

- Degree or equivalent:
High School Diploma. - Certification (preferred): HACCP, PCQI.
- Experience:
6 months to 1 year similar or applicable to position;
Preferred – 2+ years similar or applicable.
Requires manual dexterity with frequent or prolonged periods of sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and typing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work EnvironmentExposure to general office conditions in the office and production facility with moving parts, vehicles, variable temperatures (heat and cold), wet environment, and loud environment.
